Facebook changing its policy towards cryptocurrency ads, what does this mean?

As many of you have heard by now that on June 26th Facebook decided to relax it's ban on ads for cryptocurrencies.

In a blog post, Facebook announced that they'll allow only "pre-approved" cryptocurrencies to advertise on Facebook, but they still will not allow ICOs or binary options to be advertised.

Any cryptocurrencies looking to advertise on Facebook will have to submit an application and get approved before they can be advertised.

So what does it mean for the crypto world?

Well... In my opinion this is a major step towards mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. We're definitely not there yet but we're taking babysteps.

This move by Facebook might push the market into the greens (ATHs) and out of the blood bath that we've seen in recent months. This might just be the push we need.
