Dogecoin is a completely anonymous and decentralized cryptocurrency born in 2013. The coin was created by Billy Markus, who hoped to create a fun cryptocurrency that could reach a broader demographic than bitcoin. As any other cryptocurrency you can use Dogecoin to buy goods and services, or trade it for other currencies (both other cryptocurrencies or traditional currency like US dollars or Euros).
