This is a year old thread, but I am curious with the true progress of Syscoin. I have faith in the Syscoin Platform. The latest BlockMarket also looks good, and seems a lot more user friendly over the previous versions.
I still believe for Syscoin to become mass mainstream, they require a much easier to use web based Interface (No downloading required) or a Apple & Android Syscoin App so people can interact in a very easy way so they can BUY & SELL via Syscoins.
They might or might not defeat eBay, but they can surely put some strong competition in this MUCH NEEDED market place.
