POW X11

PoW X11 is the name of a chained hashing algorithm used in the work test calculation that serves to achieve decentralized consensus in some cryptocurrencies.

It is said that it is chained by its use of 11 different chain algorithms. These algorithms are: blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd and echo.

One of the most interesting features is that it is resistant to ASIC devices and can be used for either CPU or GPU mining.

The first currency to use it was DarkCoin, which was renamed to DashCoin.
