Public blockchain that can provide decentralised application platforms. Forked by Crypti in 2016 and it's mind-blowing :). Every app can have its own sidechain, separated from the main. Security is also awesome, the owner can select its own nodes operating in the Lisk network.

In bitcoin the blocks are generated approximately in every 10 minutes, Lisk does it in every 10 seconds!

We have seen recently a price pump and the market cap. is currently over 300 million. It should rise like ethereum over 1 billion soon though.
