Losing Big on Digibyte

Hello Steemians, I'm new here, and I thought I'd make my first post about one of my first experiences with crypto. Back in May, I bought some Bitcoin, around $1000 worth. I had equally divided the money between 4 promising coins. Stratis, Steem, Ethereum and Digibyte. Basically I put in $250 in each coin. Towards the end of May, I saw digibyte grow rapidly, and towards the beginning of June it grew even more. I didn't want to miss out on my potential gains. So I sold the over cryptos and put everything into Digibyte. This was a huge mistake. Digibyte dropped big, but I still believed in it. I decided to forget about it, and check a few months later. Unfortunately, Digibyte had dropped from the 5 cents when I bought it, down to 1 cent. My $1000 had turned into $160. This discouraged me from ever touching crypto again, but recently ethereum has dropped big, so I decided to buy some. I bought when it was $160, and amazingly, it's above $200 now. And recently, I came across Steemit. It's really amazing platform, so I decided to try it out. Anyways, the moral of the story, is not to put all your eggs in one basket.
