To stake you want to first setup your APR wallet on your computer. Then, you need to send APR to your wallet. I buy APR Coins from Coin Exchange. You can technically stake with any amount of APR, but more APR will yield faster rewards. Find your wallet address, by going to the receive tab and clicking request payment.
After you have received APR into your wallet, you should encrypt the wallet for security. Go to Settings>Encrypt Wallet. You will now set a password for your wallet. After setting the password, the wallet will close. Re-open the wallet. Go to Settings>Unlock and enter your password, and be sure to click the check mark next to "for staking only". Now your wallet is ready to stake.
Please note that APR has a 30 minute maturation time, and it can take up to one hour for the wallet to show staking is active. After one hour you can confirm staking is active by putting your cursor over the small APR logo in the bottom right of the wallet window, and a "staking is active" text will popup. That's it! You are staking!
