PIVX, Private Instant Verified Transaction, is a privacy-focused, decentralized, open source cryptocurrency run by a global community run by creators, innovators, and technology enthusiasts. PIVX is a proof of stake coin and offers instant transactions, negligible fees, and soon to be offering point of sale. Multi Signature ESCROW system is also in the roadmap of PIVX. PIVX is also working on elastic block size to avoid network congestion. PIVX is working on implementing zero point protocol, which will enable secure anonymous transactions possible using proof of stake coin.
PIVX does not have a fixed cap on coin supply and the coins can be mined indefinitely using staking (POS) as well as using Masternode with a block reward of 5 PIV every 60 seconds to ensure a healthy supply of coins. The distribution between POS and masternode reward varies but typically averaged at 60% for MN and 40% for staking.
