For most of you Coinbase will likely be well-known to you as one of the most respected Cryptocurrency exchanges and custodians. But did you know you can also earn completely free crypto through Coinbase? For those who don't, read on.
First you will need a verified Coinbase account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up here.
After signing up you'll need to verify your account, which is fairly fast, and includes the standard KYC (Know Your Customer) checks common to most exchanges nowadays.
When you have your account, simply the menu in the top-right of your screen, which will be three dots or lines, depending on whether you're on a PC/Laptop/Tablet/Mobile. Then select Learning Rewards as shown below...
You'll then be given a selection of Cryptocurrencies to learn about, in the form of short videos, normally a few minutes. Once complete there will be a short, multiple-choice 'exam', after which the crypto will be credited to your account!
You can choose to hold them as they are, exchange them for another crypto, or withdraw them, the choice is yours.
A final note - the coins on offer change over time, and although you may have completed all the available learning rewards, more will be added later so you can build more over time. The best way is just to check the learning rewards periodically. At the time of writing the rewards on offer are - GAL, GRT, ALEPH, and AMP.
