Hello All,
You may all know me as electo on other places. I contribute and help with the Litecoin Foundation.
We officially endorse loafwallet for LTC on mobiles. Loafwallet is a fork of the very popular and excellent breadwallet, customized for Litecoin.
The iOS version is already available on the app store and we are now close to rolling out the android version. Before the roll out we do however need your help.
Below is a link for an APK for the beta version. There is still some work to be done before we release this to google play store, but it is good enough for Beta testing. This app runs on MAINNET so it will use LIVE litecoins.
Some words of warning:
This is a BETA RELEASE - use at YOUR OWN RISK.
- DO NOT put a lot of litecoins in it - just small amounts for testing.
- If you find an issue please report on the official Github
- If you do not have experience using Android Beta Builds or side loading APKs etc. Please do not start with this! :)
Did i mention use at your own risk? - Syncing first time may take some time depending on your network speed.
Hope you guys like this version. Our developer u/hugohn is truly a legend and he got this done in record time. We now need to help him out to get some fixes in place. He was even able to fix and improve on the breadwallet code. The original loafwallet for iOS was done by /u/losh11 one of the core devs in LTC team.

Moving forward we will try and post official news on Litecoin on steemit also since a crypto supporting other blockchain platforms is always healthy.
