masknetwork.com is the biggest competitor or steemit, but it wont last for so long because their poor codebase which is unstable and insecure is vulnerable to be hacked any moment.
https://github.com/masknetwork/web_node is their public repo for their code which is being used in production but if a programmer checks the code, it is the worst code ever written.
their ICO has ended http://masknetwork.com/ico.php but because of their useless code their ICO ends in -1 day, 23 hour, 0 minunte, 45 second.

But their ICO has been stuck on Level 4 coins 34.502 at $0.4 from the start of their ICO and no one is interested in them. The Mask Network has failed and Steemit has won.
