PwC Hong Kong Now Supports Bitcoin Payment

A 'Big 4' firm, Pricewaterhousecooper's (PwC) in Hong Kong has offered Bitcoin payment support , according to Wall Street Journal.

PwC held the record as the second largest auditing firm in the world for the past 7 years and is well-known for providing multinational financial services with offices around the globe.

Ernst & Young and Deloitte offices has took the lead in accepting Bitcoin payments for financial services and now follows PwC Hong Kong.

PwC has shown interest in digital currency and blockchain solutions for the past 3 years and the firm's Asia-Pacific chairman Raymund Chao believes that this move is a milestone for the company.


A New $100 Million Hedge Fund Uses XRP To Join Cryptocurrency Investments

Michael Arrington, the founder of CrunchFund and TechCrunch has recently announced going all in on cryptocurrency investments with a new hedge fund, Arrington XRP Capital.

The hedge fund will use Ripple's XRP but will invest in various numbers of cryptocurrency assets, ICOs and as well as private equity offerings.

The $100 million cryptocurrency hedge fund has already committed to $50 million from its investors and will start trading in the few weeks to come.

The hedge fund will accept investments and make redemptions in XRP, as well as paying fees and salaries.

Arrington decided to use XRP because of its transaction times and small fees compared to traditional fiat currencies.


John McAfee Changes 2020 Bitcoin Price Prediction From $500,000 to $1M

McAfee Associates founder, John McAfee has always been bullish on the most famous cryptocurrency, Bitcoin.

In August this year, McAfee has boldly stated his prediction of $500,000 price for Bitcoin in year 2020 and was willing to stake his name at as $10 million bet.

The 500k prediction was based in his model which predicted a $5k bitcoin price at the end of 2017.

Now that the price has even crossed $11,000, he raised the bar stating he now predicts Bitcoin at $1 million by the end of year 2020.
