The time for blockchain and the cryptocurrencies has come. They bring value to the table of the world economy:
- Transparency. That little thing that many governments tend to lack.
- Efficiency & traceability. That thing that our economy tends to forget for example when one third of the food produced in the world is lost or wasted.
- Decentralization & bottom-up development of solutions. Every member of the network becomes relevant and is empowered to develop new solutions for the improvement of the system.
Do governments want more regulation and control? Of course!
Large-scale supply chains struggle to adapt? Certainly!
The most conservative financial companies look for ways to preserve the secret recipe of market success? Pretty obvious.
Instead of worrying about idle bears, we should focus on creating more value and proving that value to the world: Let’s keep disrupting entire industries. Let’s use blockchain to help solving the greatest challenges of humanity, among them hunger, extreme poverty, climate change and pandemics. Let’s harness the power of blockchain to make our societies more inclusive, sustainable and resilient.
