In the coming weeks we will be playing and reviewing some DApp games for fun. The first in our selection is ruletka.io, a betting game that takes its inspiration from russian roulette, a lethal game of chance, where the players will place a single bullet in a six-round gun and take turns pulling the trigger with the gun pointing their own head.
In ruletka, the risk of dying is replaced by the risk of losing your money: six players will sign up for the challenge by placing a bet (which range from 0.01 to 1 ETH), one "gets shot", aka loses all of their money, and the winners share the loser's bet amongst themselves (with the house taking 10%). The game is simple and worth trying out. Personally, I played with Ropsten test network and used Test Ether, so I wasn't betting any real money. There is, however a 5 tries limit for playing without betting actual cash, so if you want to play for fun, it would make more sense to bet small sums and learn the gaming process. Be aware, if you wish to play the game you need to install the Metamask browser extension and make sure you don't click the play button any more than necessary, because this can produce payment confirmations in Metamask, which you should cancel if you do not want to make false transfers.
