Gems: decentralized protocol and platform for micro-tasks

According to Gems whitepaper, billions of micro tasks are completed each year, and it's just the beginning with increasing demant for IOT, AI and dapps. There are already popular platforms like Amazon’s MTurk and CrowdFlower, but they are centralized and have the following disadvantages:

  • Millions of unbanked potential workers are unable to join such platforms and get paid for carrying out micro tasks
  • Fees for employers are extremely high and this reduces the budget available for payments to the workers
  • Because verifying the quality and accuracy of the work is time consuming, employers have many workers perform the same task at once, so they can form a consensus, but this further shrinks each worker’s individual compensation
  • Signing up to such platforms is difficult, extremely lengthy and requires a great deal of personal information

Gems will solve those using Ethereum. The ico metrics and date isn't announced yet, but you can sign for whitelist. Today is the last day!
