Just yesterday, I mentioned that the NEM altcoin was breaking away from its strongly correlated relationship with the bitcoin price. Of course, this was to be expected due to the crypo hacking incident and broader security concerns regarding its blockchain.
However, I also mentioned that momentum was strong in NEM, and the altcoin is confirming this by securing the top performing cryptocurrency status over the past 24 hours:
At time of writing, NEM is just under 39 cents. which means it is just about to breakout from its nearer-term technical resistance line at 39 to 40 cents.
I don't want to speak too early, but this may represent exciting times for the NEM crypto!
