In case if you don't follow the news DeepOnion's 40-week airdrop nears its end, there are 35 weeks behind and only 5 left. Though many think that it may cause the $ONION price crash, the community's opinion is opposite and the development team added even more confidence recently, by making an announcement about the soon VoteCentral relеаse.
What is VoteCentral?
VoteCentral is one of the key-features of DeepOnion. It's a dedicated web app, which will allow $ONION holders to suggest and vote for new ideas related to the project. Vote Central is DeepOnion's form of governance, in this way, the development team will provide the right of choosing coin's feature path to the community.
When?
Ok, I hate hearing the word "soon" as an answer, so here is the quote from the official announcement made by Deeper (one of the DeepOnion founders):
Last 5 Airdrops and then we will start a new beginning. I call it world domination phase via 1st VoteCentral!
So, we can guess that the release of VoteCentral will take place shortly after the airdrop phase end.
Considering this news, and some other facts, like upcoming exchanges listing and upcoming Android Wallet release (I think it will come shortly after the airdrop phase, too) I think that the airdrop end will not hurt the price. And even more, I'm sure the real game will start after the airdrop. So if you're looking for a "hidden diamond" to invest in, I would suggest looking closer at DeepOnion ;)
