CRYPTOCURRENCIES AND THE CHINESE NEW YEAR

In the last hours many people are alarmed by the vertiginous descent that are having the different cryptocurrencies in the market, especially bitcoin. However, it must be taken into account that this fall has been a trend in the last four years during the start of the new year. Experts explain this phenomenon arguing that it is a normal correction process applied to the different cryptocurrencies. However, it is important to point out that the measures applied by the governments of South Korea regarding the regulations to the exchange houses and the ones implemented by China to the mining companies, have contributed to the decrease in the price of said virtual currencies. , because many of these have migrated to other countries of the European Union.

Other reasons, and perhaps many consider absurd, is the arrival of the Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year as it is known abroad, date in which happens one of the largest migrations on the planet where many return to celebrate with the family This in turn generates that the money returns to fiat (money on paper) for the purchases that this celebration entails, plane tickets, lodging as the case may be, gifts, among others. It should be considered that Asia still dominates the crypto trade, therefore during the Chinese New Year it is more the money that is spend than the one that is invested.

Considering the analysis presented above, and according to statistics on the behavior of cryptocurrencies in the market, I dare say that it is time to put aside the fear of lower prices, and rather take the opportunity to invest in the portfolio of preference, since the prices will soon be high.

It is up to each one to believe it or not, the truth is that we can not blame Asians for wanting to relax for a few weeks and enjoy their celebration. We celebrate Christmas and now they celebrate.
