Getting started in Crypto

Welcome to my journey down the rabbit hole that is Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency - I'm new to this, like really new. I discovered Bitcoin and Crypto around 5-6 weeks ago whilst looking for ideas to make some money... enough to afford some home repairs and improvements, namely a new garage.

I'm a graphic designer by trade, I have a decent 9-5 which pays the bills and work for some of my own clients on the side evenings and weekends for some pocket money... this has now turned into my source of investment capital.

I can't remember exactly how I discovered Suppo's YouTube channel - but this is what really kick started my interest. My initial reaction to his presentation style was to call him a d*ck and get annoyed at his voice (no offence Sup - sure you get this a lot!), but with it locked in to the car audio and me not wanting to risk messing with my phone to change the channel I had to give it a listen... and call it fate, but I'm glad I did!

Fast forward 6 weeks and I'm now subscribed to Suppoman, Box Mining, Data Dash and CryptoDaily - which gives me a good balance of entertainment and technical analysis on a daily basis and makes the drive to work seem less of a waste of time and more an investment in knowledge. (Stay safe, set up a playlist before driving kids!).

To anyone looking for an expert eye on the Crypto World I'd recommend the above channels... for those just starting out, this blog may be of use. Over the next few days I intend to write some more posts on my journey into this mad world so far, the experiences I've had an the investments I've made - catching up to the present day. I'll then document my progress weekly from then on.

To sum up the current scene - To date I'm nearly £6000 fiat invested into the Crypto space and don't plan on adding to this much more in the near future. Today marks the day that this investment ticked over to a full Bitcoin (around 0.43 BTC up on my initial investment at todays market values)... it has been, and will continue to be a rollercoaster, but I'm strapped in and ready for it!

For now the garage will have to wait, but maybe, just maybe one day there'll be a Lambo in it! (That's a complete lie, I'll take a 911 please - boyhood dream, you can't argue with that)

Hopefully this blog will be of use to some people somewhere down the line, come along for the ride!

Cheers, CryptoN00b
