Rebellious Dev Update May 2018

Since the beginning of the $REBL project, we have envisioned $REBL to be the coin of the community. We want our community to be involved and on track with all that is going on in the office. To keep you up to date with all the latest news here at #Rebellious, we provide a monthly update near the end of each month, in which we discuss all events and developments since our last update.

As you all know, we have been busy with the development of our #blockchain. We are pleased to share the news with you that the $REBL #blockchain has reached the testing phase. To give you a better insight into some of the variables we consider during the testing phase, we will go a little more in detail.

The ongoing process of testing blockchain functionality is time-consuming but very necessary — experimenting with block creation, block times, block weight, #masternode functionality, optimizing the process of instant transactions, etc. With technological innovation, it is not necessary to reinvent the wheel. We, however, are up for the challenge of improving it.

The Alpha version of the #blockchain wallet is finished. We are testing the functionality of the wallet as well as creating a UI that will support mass consumer adoption. The user experience is very much the Achilles heel that currently restrains adoption of #cryptocurrencies. We want to contribute to the development of the #cryptocurrency space and we will do so. As such, we are proud to introduce the REBL Labs; it will be a dedicated research and development department focused on mainstream #crypto space innovation.
