The Volcker Rule is named for the former chairman of the Federal Reserve. It was signed into law to prohibit banks from making risky gambles with your deposits. The Republicans and the Banks don't like this. Now the the Fed, O.C.C., F.D.I.C., Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission — are proposing changes to the rule.

If the Banks get their way, they may return to risky behaviors that led to the last financial meltdown. So where do you keep your money? In Crypto!

If you believe that cryptocurrencies are safer, you are not alone. You can act as your own bank. Don't let the banks gamble with your deposits on toxic assets.
