Zebpay: a new start on Malta!

The crypto-purse Zebpay has launched a new challenge by targeting 20 new countries, starting with Malta, which symbolizes a veritable cryptocurrency garden. Zebpay made the decision after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) dissolved any cooperation between the country's cryptocurrency trading platforms and banks.

New prospects after failure in India

In September, Zebpay, one of the most promising crypto-bourses that wanted to settle in India, faced a problem of institutional adoption against the RBI. Subsequently, it ceased to support rupee deposits and withdrawals . After a fierce fight, Zebpay could not continue his way, at least in India.

The platform said:

"We stop our activities. At 4:00 pm today [September 28], we will cancel unscheduled orders and credit your tokens on your Zebpay wallet. No new orders will be accepted, "putting an end to Zebpay's plans in India.

A few weeks later, the platform refocused on a new project, that of serving other countries. Also rumors about Zebpay's intentions to conquer a new clientele echoed.

Zebpay targets Malta and 20 other European countries

The expansion project to other countries is not new, because since the RBI hostilities, Zebpay has focused on other perspectives. Also, on the platform's website, we found an entity based in Malta under the name Awlencan Innovations Malta Ltd , created on September 17th, which would be no more than a subsidiary.

On the other hand, a list of 20 other countries are on the site, most of them being European countries including France, Belgium, Latvia, Greece, Germany, Denmark, Finland and many others. To this end, Zebpay has planned to exploit the crypto-stock market in a more flexible international environment, but still in expectation for India.
