Which way will the Raven fly? Introducing RVN...

“While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, as of someone gently rapping...“’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door.” In there stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore...(it) perched, and sat, and...”

...what will the Raven do?

Raven Coin (RVN), is a brand new coin that just hit Crypto Bridge TODAY and is already selling upwards of 400 Satoshis. With a total supply of 21,000,000,000 there are currently 538,457,369 RVN in circulation.

How far will the Raven fly?

The Raven code is free and open source, it is a x16r mineable coin with a strong support team on Github. The development team prides itself on the coin being fast, taking less than 1 minute to solve a block with users paying minimal fees. Raven claims on their Medium page their purpose is simple, “to efficiently handle one specific function: the transfer of assets from one party to another.”

With Raven’s code being open source and built on a Bitcoin fork, developers also encourage users of the Raven blockchain to grow and build their own apps. In their abstract Ravencoin states “nearly everything that can be developed for Bitcoin from wallets to 2nd layer projects to paper wallet generators can be implemented on the Ravencoin chain.”

Just this last month IDC had the honor of personally attending the first Raven Coin meetup at the Sheraton Hotel in Portsmouth NH. What an amazing opportunity it was! This dais of talented minds allowed us the fortuity to discuss outloud the state of the RVN project, the developers beliefs in the old school BTC model and Raven’s philosophy on the future of crypto.  We certainly can’t wait for the next one :)
