On April 15th, Whaleshares has launched a cross chain token initiative (CCTI) that consists on using EOS tokens for rewards in WLS on content published on this platform. As they mention on the official announcement:
we are able to offer... proven, functional, cross-chain reward tokens that provide partner applications an additional use case for their tokens adding utility and value to their network. In return, Whaleshares stands to gain substantially with the promotion and use of our service within the EOS ecosystem through brand awareness, user growth, and token value.
For this purpose, the @ccti account was created which will reward any post on whaleshares by using EOS tokens.

Which tokens can be used?
At this system's launch, there has been added two token partnerships. You can check them via Whaleshares.info in which al partnerships will be listed as follows:
ATMOS token
Is the native token at EOS discussions which is an experimental forum built on EOS by the @Novusphere Community and runs on EOS blockchain. Content posted on Discussions.app may be rewarded through token tips with ATMOS token. By using this site you can be potencialy rewarded with other EOS tokens as well. If you post about EOS-retaled content this place is for you and it allows to share your Whaleshares, Steemit posted content by using only the link.
Boid Token
Belongs to the Boid Social super Computer project, this dapp allows using the resources of your computer for grupal mining tasks and participating in many projects sa well. It pays using its own native token, BOID. You'll only need to install the app, have an EOS account and Scatter wallet by preference and you are ready to participate and earn passive income.

How do I apply my tokens for rewards at Whaleshares?
Simply go to your Scatter wallet (for example) press send and it will display a window just like the one above. Imput the type and amount of tokens and remember is has to be 100, place the ccwhaletoken as the EOS account who will receive them and as for memo the url of your Whaleshares post. That's it! you'll receive a 10WLS approx. upshare in your selected post.
