meeting Datadash aka Nicholas Merten

Yesterday was a cool evening as I was able to mix and mingle with crypto enthusiasts here in the crypto valley in Zug.
There was a meetup organised by @Datadash aka Nicholas Merten.

Nick runs a successful youtube channel that has about 340000 subscribers and gives honest and well thought out TA on crypto and the stock market and does interviews with the big names in crypto. If you are not following him he is well worth it in my opinion.

Last night he was there to talk about the project he is setting up together with a lot of programmers from the city of Zion (the coders of the well known Neo wallet) which is called Project Genesis

check out the website : https://www.projectgenesisfoundation.org/

this is a non profit open source project that wants to combine different coin projects to create a few concepts:

  • CONCEPT ONE: LEDGER ANALYSIS
imagine it as a "cash back" reward system for cryptocurrencies
  • CONCEPT TWO: PEER-TO-PEER POOLS
lending to individuals but through peer to peer pools. A bit like Nexo but where the pool controls who they lend to
  • CONCEPT THREE: COOPERATIVE ADDRESSES
This allows for an abundance of powerful opportunities, but one of the most exciting is "ecosystems", where participants become their own community bank

white paper

on a side note,

we saw pwediepie go to Dlike and here I might have convinced Nick to come back to Steem. Not exclusively of course but by using @share2steem
So check out if we get a bit of activity on his channel @datadash . I also pointed him in the direction of @utopian-io to see if there could be some possible collaboration on the project. Heck, maybe even @oracle-d would be able to help (ping me a discord @starkerz)
Like @thecallmedan says, if we do not get out there and boost Steem then no one will, it's up to us as a community.
