Venezuela introduces a state digital currency, the Petro Coin. It is feared that this coin gives the state full control over the money.
The pre-sale has already started and has brought the state over 750 million dollars and is thus signposted as a successful launch of the currency.

Der Vorverkauf ist schon gestartet und hat dem Staat über 750 Millionen Dollar eingebracht und wird somit als erfolgreicher Start der Währung ausgeschildert.
Als erste staatliche digitale Finanzwährung könnte der Petro Coin ein neues Zeitalter einläuten und Venezuela zu unverhofftem wirtschaftlichen Aufschwung verhelfen.
