They do not provide annual fees, and have no commissions on foreign exchange.

They will be available in three metallic versions (black, silver and rose gold), in 50 states of the USA, and can be used all over the world where the MasterCard circuit is supported.
The Gemini Credit Cards will in fact allow you to pay in US dollars using the funds on the exchange account, or where cryptocurrency rewards will also be automatically deposited.

Gemini ha annunciato che Mastercard è stata scelta come partner per le sue carte.
Infatti l’exchange dei gemelli Winklevoss sta per rilasciare le proprie carte di pagamento alimentate in criptovalute, e come circuito di pagamento partner ha scelto proprio Mastercard. La banca emittente invece sarà WebBank.

Le nuove carte di Gemini non sono ancora state rilasciate, ma la società dichiara che dovrebbero essere lanciate nell’estate di quest’anno.

Queste carte offriranno ai clienti un cashback fino al 3% sui pasti, 2% sui generi alimentari, e l’1% sugli altri acquisti, con premi in bitcoin o qualsiasi criptovaluta disponibile su Gemini.
Non prevedono fee annuale, e non hanno commissioni sui cambi.
Inoltre saranno integrabili anche in Apple Pay o Google Pay, una volta che l’utente sarà stato approvato.

Le Gemini Credit Card infatti consentiranno di pagare in dollari USA utilizzando i fondi presenti sull’account dell’exchange, ovvero laddove verranno anche depositati automaticamente i premi in criptovalute.
Ormai sono sempre di più gli exchange crypto che consentono ai loro clienti di utilizzare i fondi detenuti nei loro account per effettuare pagamenti in fiat su circuiti come Visa o Mastercard. In questo modo non è necessario dover trovare merchant che accettano criptovalute per poterle utilizzare come mezzo di pagamento, perché la conversione da crypto a fiat viene effettuata direttamente dall’exchange, in automatico, al momento del pagamento.
