In the pubs, whichever pub it is, football is always a hot topic. But the topic, whether Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi are the best players ever to grace the game rages on.
For me, in the modern era they're on a par. At club level, Messi has scored more goals and always seems to do more for the team, in closing opponents down, winning the ball back, while Ronaldo stays upfront more. At international level, Ronaldo seems to continually raise the bar, performance after performance, goal after goal - HE JUST KEEPS IMPROVING
