Se reunieron para ver la roca, algunos dicen que es hermosa, al parecer es de una zona minera, que tiene dorada riqueza. Pero no hace nada la pobre, permanece siempre inmóvil, algunos la miran de pasada, otros permanecen a su lado cuidándola.
Llega Chaman-chaman, seguro él si la puede curar, trae una moneda de chocolate como es habitual, se la entrega y luego se va. La roca empieza a devorar la moneda, no imaginaron que hambre tuviera, seguro por eso no saltaba, ni cantaba en las madrugadas.

El oso de anteojos está amenazado, porque tiene conflicto con los humanos, por eso lo están matando, mientras muchas personas intentan salvarlo. Este amigo viajará conmigo, a un municipio vecino, junto a él conoceremos Cumbitara, lugar que queda entre las montañas.

Algunos campesinos atribuyen la muerte de su ganado al oso, sin embargo este no come carne y si lo esta haciendo, seguramente es por el deterioro de su hogar.
Se cree que los ataques al ganado se dan por colonias ferales de perros.
