Create collateral contracts in BTC based on WALL STREET shares

The American investment Company and digital Portfolio Abra informed that its users will be able to use Bitcoins to acquire stock representations of the companies that are listed on Wall Street. The operations to manage the participations in Amazon, Apple, Facebook or Google, for example, will be made from the mobile application.

Bill Barhydt, CEO of Abra, indicated through a statement released this February 6, that the investor will have exposure to shares through a representation mechanism in bitcoins. In other words, operators do not acquire real action, but rather a collateral participation.

In other words, if you want to invest $1,000 in Apple shares, you will place $1,000 in Bitcoins in a contract. As the price of Apple rises or falls, as compared to the dollar, bitcoins of your contract will be added or subtracted. When you liquidate the contract, or sell Apple's investment, the value of Apple's shares will be reflected in Bitcoins in your portfolio.
