Took a walk along the dry creek bed and saw this huge Cottonwood tree. Not sure what cause

Took a walk along the dry creek bed and saw this huge Cottonwood tree. Not sure what caused it to break, looks like maybe lightning or just wind snapped it off. Had to be at least 100 feet tall.
