Visited Standen today (in the South of UK). Its a wonderful house designed by Philip Webb and built in 1891. The family house is one of the finest examples to come from the Arts and Crafts movement, with Morris & Co. interiors creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The house was arranged exactly as it would have been for weekend stay in 1925. Brilliantly preseved by the National Trust.
