So there were some issues to get the update going and Philips answer went out Official at Telegram but many doesn't use that so here it goes: Update Notes for 8 /1/2022: Hive Posting when on Hive Spam List: - Currently, when users are on the hive spam list, SoMee prevents them from creating NEW POSTS on the blockchain. However, we do not block them from commenting/replying to existing posts. And, we don't block them on somee.blog from posting. - However, while the development team did state that they pushed the update to include the change to allow users to post, but not monetize to the blockchain, I was able to verify, by working with Mackemacchiato on the 29th, that this update wasn't pushed. - I have a pending update that will address this, and allow users on the spam blocklist to SEE they are on the blockclist, but not stop them from posting, which should be out mid this week or by friday (or sooner). - Once the development team finishes work on the feature to allow demonetization of the post when on the bloicklist, then we'll push that out for everyone. I apologize for the confusion; sometimes developers state things are done, and we take it for gospel; in this case, we didn't confirm if the actual feature was included in the production push. As it was not, that was our mistake, and we'll own up to it. In the mean time, we'll revoke that block functionality on SoMee with the next update, so that users on the spam blocklist can still post; and once the devs are ready (for real this time), we'll make it so that those on the spam blocklist can create posts, but not have them monetized on hive.
