Welcome my dear mecha travelers of the internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, if you have followed my latest publications you will know that I recently uploaded a review of the legendary mecha anime Mazinger Z (If you have not followed my content how ashamed I am ) The thing is that while I was looking for information about it I came across information about the film that brings us together today "Mazinger Z: Infinity" that brings us back to the classic robots in a new confrontation against the forces of evil. Without further ado, get ready to pilot Mazinger again because we are about to begin.

Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros mechas del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, si han seguido mis últimas publicaciones sabrán que recientemente subí una reseña del legendario anime de mechas Mazinger Z (Si no han seguido mi contenido que vergüenza me dan) el asunto es que mientras buscaba datos sobre la misma me topé con información sobre el filme que hoy nos reúne "Mazinger Z: Infinity" que nos trae de regreso a los robots clásicos en un nuevo enfrentamiento en contra de las fuerzas del mal. Sin más que agregar prepárense para pilotar nuevamente a Mazinger pues estamos por comenzar.

Mazinger Z: Infinity was released in 2017, directed by Junji Shimizu and produced by Toei Animation, it has a duration of 1 hour and 34 minutes. It is an action and mecha animation, the story takes place 10 years after the events of the first series, humanity is at peace due to the extension that photonic energy has had, after stopping piloting Mazinger, Koji Kabuto He dedicated himself to research, however, all peace will be in danger after a new discovery on Mount Fuji which will force our hero to pilot Mazinger again and have to decide if he wants to become a God. or a demon for humanity.

Mazinger Z: Infinity fue estrenada en 2017, dirigida por Junji Shimizu y producida por Toei Animation, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 34 minutos. Es una animación de acción y mechas, la historia se desarrolla 10 años después de los acontecimientos de la primera serie, la humanidad se encuentra en paz debido a la extensión que ha tenido la energía fotónica, después de dejar de pilotar a Mazinger, Koji Kabuto se dedicó a la investigación, no obstante, toda la paz se verá en peligro tras un nuevo descubrimiento en el monte Fuji el cual obligará a nuestro héroe a volver a pilotar a Mazinger y al hecho de tener que decidir si se quiere convertir en un Dios o en un demonio para la humanidad.

The animation is very exquisite, it is much more noticeable for those of us who have just seen the 70's classic since the jump in quality is wonderful, the color palettes used are a success, in addition, the metallic tones that are used are pleasant. recurring form because it makes the robots look better, on the other hand, it looks quite fluid and detailed which makes the combats much more enjoyable.

La animación es muy exquisita, es mucho más apreciable para aquellos que venimos de ver el clásico de los 70 puesto que el salto de calidad es maravilloso, las paletas de colores utilizadas son un acierto, además, es agradable los tonos metalizados que se usan de forma recurrente debido a que hace que los robots se vean mejor, por otro lado, se nota bastante fluida y detallada lo que hace que los combates sean mucho más disfrutables.

The soundtrack is fine, it's nothing really spectacular, but at least it does what it sets out to do, which is to give it appropriate musical accompaniment for the different confrontations and situations that the film poses.

La banda sonora está bien, no es nada realmente espectacular, pero por lo menos cumple con lo que se propone, que es darle un acompañamiento musical acorde para los diferentes enfrentamientos y situaciones que plantea el filme.

The world building is not something very notable, it is nice that its context has been given more relevance and a greater influence of photonic energy and combat on society, which makes it more interesting because it is more noticeable. affected by technological advances and confrontations, apart from that there is nothing else to highlight because its scenery has nothing else that is notable in any way.

La construcción de mundo no es algo muy destacable, es agradable que se le haya dado más relevancia a su contexto y una mayor influencia de la energía fotónica y los combates en la sociedad, siendo que la hace er más interesante debido a que se nota más afectada por los avances tecnológicos y los enfrentamientos, fuera de ello no hay más para destacar producto de que su escenografía no tiene nada más que sea remarcable de ninguna forma.

The plot follows the same pattern as the 70's series, villains appear who unleash chaos and the heroes are the ones who must defeat them to restore peace, the issue with this is that between the combats there is too much talk and conversations that They are not important since they contribute very little to the plot. Narratively it feels slow, although it does not have a long duration, its story is too simple to be taken seriously, in addition, the constant introduction of boring conversations does not make it more interesting because they only eliminate the tension of the combats and make it feel more boring, what can be appreciated is that it reflects what the future of some characters is like, which is resolved in a pleasant closure.

La trama sigue el mismo patrón pautado por la serie de los 70, aparecen villanos que desatan el caos y los héroes son los que deben derrotarlos para restaurar la paz, el tema con esto es que entre medio de los combates existe demasiada charla y conversaciones que no son importantes puesto que aportan muy poco a la trama. Narrativamente se siente lenta, pese a que no se tiene gran duración su historia es muy simplona como para tomarla en serio, además, la constante introducción de conversaciones aburridas no la hacen más interesante debido a que solo eliminan la tensión de los combates y la hacen sentir más aburrida, lo que se puede agradecer es que se plasma como es el futuro de algunos personajes lo que resuelta en un cierre agradable.

There is not much to add to what was mentioned above regarding this section, apart from the physical changes that the characters have and their new professions, there is nothing that makes them look like individuals who have matured and so on; What stands out the most is the 'relationship' between Koji and Sayaka, although this feels quite artificial and rushed so it cannot be taken seriously because it feels like pure fan service. The villains are the same as always, it is nice to see them with new animation since it makes them look excellent, outside of the visual there is not much to highlight since they are still bad just because.

No hay mucho que adicionar a lo anterior mencionado con respecto a este apartado, aparte de los cambios físicos que tienen los personajes y sus nuevas profesiones no hay nada que los haga ver cómo individuos que hayan madurado y demás; lo que más se denota es la "relación" entre Koji y Sayaka, aunque esta se siente bastante artificial y apresurada por lo que no se puede tomar en serio debido a que se siente como puro fan service. Los villanos son igual que siempre, es agradable verlos con animación nueva puesto que los hace lucir excelentes, fuera de lo visual no hay mucho que destacar puesto que siguen siendo malos solo porque sí.

Mazinger Z: Infinity is nice because of the new animation it has which makes it look generally very new and great, the problem lies in its content which is very poor and boring, unfortunately this cannot be compensated with the combats because if Although they are very fluid and pleasant, they are scarce and are constantly interrupted by conversations that contribute little or nothing to the plot, it only feels like an element to burn time. It is for all the above that it deserves 2 stars out of 7, I would like to give it a higher rating because of the nostalgia I felt when seeing it but it has many errors that make it difficult to enjoy it in its entirety, despite everything I recommend it for those who enjoyed the old one series since seeing Mazinger with current animation is completely wonderful.

Mazinger Z: Infinity es agradable por la nueva animación que posee la cual la hace lucir en general muy novedosa y genial, el problema recae en su contenido que es muy pobre y aburrido, desgraciadamente este no puede ser compensado con los combates debido a que si bien son muy fluidos y agradables estos escasean y son interrumpidos constantemente por conversaciones que aportan poco o nada a la trama, solo se siente como un elemento para quemar tiempo. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 2 estrellas de 7, me gustaría darle mayor calificación por la nostalgia que sentí al verla pero tiene muchos errores que dificultan disfrutar de la misma en su totalidad, pese a todo la recomiendo para aquellos que disfrutaron de la vieja serie puesto que ver a Mazinger con animación actual es completamente maravilloso.
