OHM is a cryptocurrency that was introduced into the market in May 2017. The wallet can be downloaded at ohmwallet.com website. Currently it has Windows, Mac, and Linux versions downloadable and an Android and Apple iOS wallet is being developed as it says on the website.

So what makes this coin inspiring?

First of all it uses Proof of Stake (POS) which makes it much more energy efficient than bitcoin. That means anyone with an ordinary computer and some OHM in their wallet can mint.

For the first year they can mint 20%
Second year: 15%
Third year: 10%
Fouth and subsequent years: 5%

Currently there are around 31 million coins available and after all there will be 500 million total coins. So if you hold only 3000 Ohm today you will end up with 50000 without doing nothing but only holding it.

Another reason for making Ohm inspiring is its partnership with Sodalitas Vulturis Volantis (SVV) through which I met with Ohm. SVV gives Ohm by solving various puzzles from music to old languages and by doing act of kindness like doing voluntary work in a charity organisation or helping a disable person across the street. That is the first time in cryptocurrency world a coin partners with this kind of organisation.

Third Ohm has a really active digital community on various platforms. You can ask anything about the coin on their discord channel to developers. You can also suggest your opinions related to development of the coin, the logo, marketing campaign and so on.

Blockexplorer of Ohm shows top 100 accounts that you can see who has how much Ohm. Confidence is one of the most importans issues for a cryptocurrency and Ohm provides this confidence so far.

Due to still being developed and not being listed on big exchange markets Ohm has a relatively cheap price which makes it inspiring. I am sure when the development is fully finished and it is listed on big exchange websites its price will rise dramatically.
