While we were waiting for the results, as well as the Doctor in charge of doing the echo, they left her hospitalized, they gave her about 6 injections, among them, iron, b complex, antibiotics, dexamethasone and others, then they gave her a serum to hydrate her and so she would not decompensate more, after about an hour, they did the echo and with results in hand the doctors talked to us and gave us the bad news that Rose had problems in her uterus, a strong infection called "PIOMETRA", which has already expanded considerably throughout her uterus, creating several pockets of "pus", that was the white fluid that she threw out of her intimate part when any of them hatched, and the only solution is to do an emergency surgery to remove her uterus, as it was very damaged; It was a news that left us speechless at the moment, with sadness, because even if she does not say it and express it as we humans do, let her feel very bad.

Llegando a Maturín la llevamos a un veterinario cerca de nuestro hogar por recomendación de un amigo, desde que empezó a revisarla note mucha incertidumbre de su parte, a la final se enfocó más en sus orejas que en el problema principal, luego le hizo unos exámenes de sangre y nos dijo que había que esperar los resultados, le preguntábamos que, para él, que podía tener y no sabía que decir, aun así, esperamos resultados y según él, por dichos resultados todo estaba bien, mi novio se molestó y le dijo que como podía estar bien, si para él era normal que ella sangrara por su parte íntima y no quisiera comer como normalmente ella lo hace, continuo diciendo que los exámenes salieron bien, pero que si queríamos le mandaba un tratamiento a ver. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmVATNpBSQndRtQsmYYsx2iKaqXkpThhAcjmYCPKEoB7m7/photo_2024_03_24_11_53_47.jpg) --- ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmeMydWbi8su4CmY2SMWWnxjZ9TK1kufyX6Z5P9MtzXnq3/photo_2024_03_24_11_53_45.jpg) ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmbPKYxG6pPMHbznVxvt7LKHCQCxrWodBcVArUJxCP95Bd/separador.png) Cometimos el error de comprar ese tratamiento y empezar a dárselo según sus indicaciones, quizás la desesperación por verla recuperada nos llevo a eso, pero su estado empeoro, perdió por completo el apetito, lo poco que le dábamos de comer, era con inyectadora y lo vomitaba, empezó a botar por su parte intima más fluido blanco, en fin todo estaba mal; fue cuando un primo nos habló de otra clínica en donde él llevo a su perrita que estaba muy delicada, y hoy en día goza de buena salud, el viernes muy temprano la llevamos y de verdad fue todo lo opuesto a este otro doctor. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmTcnymeA8eukYFks54vjcrouXWRKHxnyTnXyBERmDtFjQ/photo_2024_03_23_15_32_33.jpg) _{**En la sala de espera mientras era el turno de Rose**} ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmbPKYxG6pPMHbznVxvt7LKHCQCxrWodBcVArUJxCP95Bd/separador.png) A primera instancia la doctora por medio de los síntomas que presentaba, nos explicó posibles afectaciones que podría tener, pero necesitaba repetir los exámenes, también hacerle un eco y así estar segura de lo que Rose estaba padeciendo, pero de lo que si estaba segura en ese momento, era que ese tratamiento que ese otro doctor le mando, no era el adecuado para ella, ya que es muy fuerte para un perro de raza pequeña, para su edad y su delicada situación; así que todo ese tiempo y dinero que se gastó, que fue considerable por cierto, en consulta y ese tratamiento, se perdió, aun así, sin importar cuanto más se gastaría, le dimos el consentimiento a la doctora que hiciera todo lo que estuviera en sus manos para ayudar a Rose.

Mientras esperábamos los resultados, como también al Doctor encargado de hacerle el eco, la dejaron hospitalizada, le colocaron como 6 inyecciones, entre ellas, hierro, complejo b, antibióticos, dexametasona y otras, luego le colocaron un suero para hidratarla y para que no se descompensara más, después de una hora aproximadamente, le hicieron el eco y con resultados en mano los doctores hablaron con nosotros y nos dieron la mala noticia que Rose tenía problemas en su útero, una fuerte infección llamada “PIOMETRA”, que ya se le ha expandido considerablemente por todo su útero, creándole varias bolsitas de “pus”, que ese era el fluido blanco que ella botaba por su parte intima cuando alguna de ellas eclosionaba, y la única solución es hacerle una cirugía de emergencia, para extirparle su útero, ya que estaba muy dañado; fue una noticia que nos dejo sin palabras al momento, con tristeza, porque aunque no lo diga y exprese como nosotros los humanos, deje sentirse muy mal.

--- Le preguntamos, que a su criterio como doctores, que desde cuando ella estaba así, porque un par de semanas atrás la vemos tan bien, a lo que contestaron, que es algo normal en los animalitos, ya que ellos pueden estar sitiando alguna enfermedad o condición como la de ella, pero no expresan ningún malestar, solo cuando ya están en un estado avanzado, y Rose podía estar presentando esa infección desde hace unos meses atrás, también nos explicaron el motivo, que esa infección se presenta solo en las hembras y más comúnmente cuando tienen una edad avanzada, en el caso de Rose, ella tiene 12 años, así que es más propensa a contraer dicha infección, y eso ocurre más cuando están en esta de “celo”, que es donde su útero está más sensible y expuesto. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmbPKYxG6pPMHbznVxvt7LKHCQCxrWodBcVArUJxCP95Bd/separador.png) La cirugía no se la podían hacer ese mismo viernes, porque ya tenían a varias mascotas en espera para ese día y el siguiente, y le dieron fecha para el día lunes en horas del mediodía, ósea mañana, pero hay que llevarla en la mañana para internarla, pido a Dios que todo salga muy bien; mientras llega ese momento, se tuvo que llevar el día de ayer sábado y hoy temprano para colocarle antibióticos y otras inyecciones que la ayuden a estar estable hasta su cirugía y en casa se le está suministrando suero bajo las indicaciones de la doctora, además nos dijo que camináramos con ella lo mas posible para que su sistema sanguíneo esta activo. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmUbPKs7kSQdx7aETRR9WBWBp5EPansF4czmcX4pnzb21f/photo_2024_03_24_10_50_04.jpg) --- ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmRGXrZa8qwF6ELaoXxq6nCsmCvcXeK81weUCAx2W3gqog/photo_2024_03_23_09_13_20.jpg) ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmbPKYxG6pPMHbznVxvt7LKHCQCxrWodBcVArUJxCP95Bd/separador.png) A pesar de que no está comiendo, que se está manteniendo con sueros e inyecciones, ha demostrado ser una perrita muy fuerte, duerme, descansa y luego anda caminando por la casa y sentada afuera tomando aire fresco con nosotros.
