Silver coins will be an extremely useful thing to have in a long-term survival situation. They help you store value, engage in trade with the local community, and they can also be used to make medicine.

Iodine is important for our health, and may be difficult to obtain in situations where grocery stores are no longer an option. I recommend having a bottle of Lugol's Iodine on hand for longterm survival
