Myself a member of many groups working to bring changes to what is happening in Canada, I saw many people expressing a desire to get off mainstream social media, but not knowing of a good alternative. Being a long time member of Hive, I've always believed in Hive's potential to not only build community while monetizing it, but also to create a model for self governance.
This is a place for working together, being constructive, and building community. This is not a place for insults, downvoting because you don't like an opinion, and or any other mean behaviours. That said, the world is very complex, so there are sure to be disagreements. No one has the whole perspective, so treat disagreements as an opportunity to gain a new perspective, and hopefully see a bigger the picture that cannot be seen from simply your own perspective.
