We’ve now reached the end of September, and temperatures in the continental US are cooling down. We’re about to end the last quarter of the year - with just 3 months left to go, let’s make the rest of this year amazing! So, this is once again a simple reminder about a couple of things so that we can properly account for your upcoming rewards which will be coming around over the next few days. ## Please Let Me Know How Many Members You’ve Referred! One of our contests is the Monthly Promotion Contest. We’re looking for our members to refer others to this community. We regularly reward 2 HSBI per member who is referred and joins the community, but the one who makes the most referrals wins *5 HSBI, 1000 Ecency points, 10 LEO, and 500 NEOXAG!* Remember that we’re counting referrals only for the past month (i.e. May), rather than lifetime referrals. While we continue to have clear winners, I’m 100% confident that more people were referred than were accounted for. So, please let us know whom you know that you’ve referred; and, if someone referred you here, please let us know so they can get credit! ## A Brief Preview of Upcoming Developments This month, we’ve had our new Referral Specialists onboarding people from outside of Hive directly into the FreeCompliments Community. These jobs are in their early phase and we’ll be developing strategies to help onboard more people over time, but we’re already off to a great start! The InLeo Community Battles / Wars appear to have been put on hold (I think our community may be in part to blame for our consecutive wins, lol!), but we maintain a 200K Leo Power delegation from InLeo, which we’re going to continue using to curate Threads with the #freecompliments tag. Our new Comment Curator is doing a fantastic job, and we just hired new Primary and Backup Threads Curators who are *very* active, so we’re going to be back on track for all of our curation activities within the next couple of days! My collaboration with other projects and their respective tokens will continue. We’re slowly building our reserves of $LGN, $CCD, $LEO, $NEOXAG, among multiple others. We’re also distributing more of them as rewards! At any rate, all of these are all stable tokens with longevity and strong projects behind them, so I’m confident in the choices. It’s going to be a very unique system, where you’ll be able to delegate to our community curation account and get rewarded for doing so! If we get enough delegations, we’ll have the opportunity to become a major player in the Hive curation ecosystem. It’s not *yet* time for delegation, but we’re certainly getting closer! In other financial matters, our community trading account, @fc-arbitration, started the month off with some very successful trades, but has more recently been stuck in a trade for the past 2-3 weeks after the surge in $HIVE’s price. Unfortunately, I believe this is ultimately going to turn into a significant loss – the math in my head tells me that we may lose upwards of 300 HIVE, possibly as much as 400. Of course, I’m going to replenish this supply from my own funds towards the beginning of October so that we can retain stability. I’ll also fund our monthly rewards, which appear to be increasing on a monthly basis. I will continue to fund our community accounts as long as needed, but I expect it will remain this way for at least a couple of years. I’ll also be adding the DUO token to hive-140084 this week. While not a big game-changer yet, this token does have some potential for growth over time, so I believe it’s going to be a positive change. This will also be a self-funded purchase. We continue working on our mental health initiative, and are becoming more organized! Our monthly HBD payments continue; since the HBD APR was cut down the previous month, the payments were smaller at the beginning of September, but will show some growth as of October. As long as the interest rate doesn’t drop further, the monthly payments will continue to rise over time. I’m going to post an update regarding the structure of our [Threads Engagement Contest](https://inleo.io/@freecompliments/monthly-threads-engagement-contest-in-the-freecompliments-community-a-chance-to-win-up-to-3-months-of-leo-premium-subscriptions) within the next couple of days, because our funding source for this is being cut. The contest will still go on, but the prizes will be adjusted to my personal budget. I anticipate we’re going to have a winner this month! Let’s maintain the #freecompliments tag’s position at #1 in Threads so that we can continue sending rewards. Additionally, more job positions will be opened up over time. I keep creating new jobs, and more of them will be deployed as we move along. We are, indeed, slowly transforming the FreeCompliments Community into a business! ## Conclusion Remember to help us reward you properly!
