Si alguna vez me pregunté si iba a ser mamá, la respuesta era no; dirán estas muy joven para dar tan precipitada respuesta y sí, pero era más por miedo a no ser esa persona capaz de darle a ese nuevo ser todo lo que yo en su momento no tuve y que a esta altura de la vida he obtenido.

Sin embargo, ahora que tengo la oportunidad y de la manera menos pensada porque mi hija emma es un milagro, y si es una bendición ya que supero tantos obstáculos en su corta vida para darnos una sonrisa un día especial.

Y así es como comienza esta historia, yo era una joven en un lugar nuevo, un lugar donde debí aprender a defenderme sola, donde debía trabajar más de 12h diarias para no flaquear en el intento y donde más de una vez me caí y debí volver a comenzar.

Así mismo empiezo un nuevo empleo en una clínica donde trabaje prácticamente el inicio de mi embarazo sin tener idea de que estaba creándose en mi vientre ese ángel que hoy en día es el motor de levantarme a diario y que solo con una sonrisa me derrite de amor.

En otras cosas pase por pruebas físicas, por exámenes de rutina y ninguno de ellos arrojo tal acontecimiento puesto que vivía una vida realmente muy normal me levantaba a las 6am me bañaba salía a trabajar medio día y volvía a casa, hacia mis actividades cotidianas y así iban pasando los días, ni mi periodo menstrual falto como para alarmarse y decir algo anormal está sucediendo.

Con todo eso unos años atrás yo tenía muchas complicaciones odontológicas más estéticas que otra cosa, pero quien no querrá querer tener una belleza Colgate como dicen por allí, pero en la actualidad hubo estragos donde mis muelas del juicio hicieron de las suyas detonando un fuerte dolor y quizás no eran solo las cordales, sino que emma ya quería decir mamá acá estoy es decir dar señales, pero como mi periodo era recurrente quien lo hubiese pensado.

Ignorando todo lo anterior fui a playas donde también se disfrutaba mucho y las olas revolcaban el cuerpo y aunque eran actividades para al menos sentir algún movimiento emma estaba muy escondidita y tranquila mientras poco a poco iba creciendo y haciéndose más fuerte.

De tal forma pasaron los días e inclusive los meses; fui participe de salidas como subir al Ávila por los senderos más complicados donde ejercía mucho esfuerzo para llegar a esos lugares donde había vistas hermosas.

Con el pasar del tiempo y por razones ajenas a que estaba cubriendo a mi compañera en sus vacaciones lo anteriormente mencionado con el odontologo se detono una fuerte incomodidad pero lo fui minimizando con antibióticos, inyecciones, tés entre otros para aliviar el dolor sin saber que tenía una bendición de 19s alrededor de casi 5m de embarazo donde aunque ustedes no lo crean fui a parar en una operación de extracción de cordales con el mejor médico del hospital militar de caracas y digo el mejor porque mi recuperación fue excelente los dolores desaparecieron pero no por mucho tiempo y aquí es donde viene el factor sorpresa.

Un día como otro normal después de dos semanas de mi operación, volvimos a padecer de un dolor, pero esta vez era de caderas a nivel de los riñones el cual no podía estar sentada, ni parada e inclusive ni acostada y es allí donde digo que la emoción del dolor duro poco, pero se creia que era cualquier otra cosa que un embarazo puesto que con anterioridad mis exámenes de rutina nunca habían arrojado un resultado distinto.

De tal manera que en la clínica lugar donde tengo mucho que agradecer porque me han tendido bastante la mano me mandan con un especialista (un traumatólogo) porque como les había dicho podría habernos pasado por la mente cualquier cosa (colon, riñón) me revisan y nada todo en perfectas condiciones y bueno mi jefa dice debe ser por el trabajo de todo el día aquí pero como te duele tanto vamos a descartar hazte un eco abdominal y mi respuesta es bueno si debe ser cansancio o estragos de tantos medicamentos, llega el momento de hacerme el eco y una muy buena amiga me dice bueno albeliany ven vamos a ver que te sucede eso debe ser el colon porque yo también padecí de eso y los dolores son increíbles.

Para nuestra sorpresa al echar el gel ella me dice sorprendida tus sabias que estabas embarazada? EMBARAZADA bueno doctora que clase de broma es esa, SI MAMITA VOLTEA. Mi reacción fue llorar desconsoladamente y aun no se si fue por emoción, por impresión o porque

Aun intentando entender la noticia me di de cuenta de la gran bendición que estuve creando dentro de mí y no saberlo, parecía hasta de serie de televisión, me senti hasta culpable por no haberme cuidado los primeros meses pero sin duda ha sido lo mejor que me ha pasado en mi vida, solo faltaban 4m para conocer a quien hoy en día puedo decir que es el amor de mi vida, mi pequeñita creación, mi mayor tesoro.

No obstante tenia que planificar como decirle a mi mamá que ha estado siendo ese papel en union con mi abuelo de ser ese apoyo que necesita todo ser como guia en el camino, aunado al miedo que ya sentia por la noticia de ser madre, preocupacion y lagrimas x2 para al final obtener respuestas de alegria y gozo por ser esa segunda bendicion a la que hoy conocemos como EMMA mi pequeña bebe.

Finalmente, les puedo decir que un hij@ es el mejor regalo que dios le puede dar a cada mujer en esta vida y sin duda tenerlos es la mejor elección que puedes llegar a ver a lo largo de su crecimiento, cada gesto, cada nuevo aprendizaje que solo arroja una sonrisa al rostro de quien es merecedor de ese gran amor.

ONE MORE DAY IN THIS ADVENTURE!

If I ever asked myself if I was going to be a mom, the answer was no; they will say you are too young to give such a hasty answer and yes, but it was more for fear of not being that person capable of giving that new being everything that I didn't have at the time and that at this point in life I have obtained.

However, now that I have the opportunity and in the least thought way because my daughter emma is a miracle, and yes she is a blessing since she overcame so many obstacles in her short life to give us a smile on a special day.

And this is how this story begins, I was a young woman in a new place, a place where I had to learn to defend myself, where I had to work more than 12 hours a day not to falter in the attempt and where more than once I fell and had to start again.

Likewise, I started a new job in a clinic where I worked practically at the beginning of my pregnancy without having any idea that I was creating in my belly that angel that today is the engine that makes me get up every day and that only with a smile melts me with love.

In other things I went through physical tests, routine examinations and none of them showed such an event since I lived a really normal life, I got up at 6am, took a bath, went to work at noon and came back home, did my daily activities and so the days went by, not even my menstrual period was not enough to be alarmed and say something abnormal is happening.

So at the clinic where I have a lot to thank because they have been very helpful they sent me to a specialist (a traumatologist) because as I had told them anything could have crossed our minds (colon, kidney), They checked me and everything was in perfect condition and well my boss said it must be because of the work all day here but since it hurts so much we are going to rule out an abdominal ultrasound and my answer is well if it must be fatigue or ravages of so many medications, the time comes to do the ultrasound and a very good friend tells me well albeliany come let's see what happens to you that must be the colon because I also suffered from that and the pains are unbelievable.

Even trying to understand the news I realized what a blessing I was creating inside of me and not knowing it, it seemed like a TV series, I even felt guilty for not taking care of myself the first months but without a doubt it has been the best thing that has happened in my life, I was only 4m away to meet the one who today I can say is the love of my life, my little creation, my greatest treasure.

However I had to plan how to tell my mom who has been playing that role in union with my grandfather to be that support that every being needs as a guide along the way, coupled with the fear that I already felt for the news of being a mother, worry and tears x2 to finally get answers of joy and happiness for being that second blessing that we now know as EMMA my little baby.

Finally, I can tell you that a child is the best gift that god can give to every woman in this life and without a doubt having them is the best choice you can get to see throughout their growth, every gesture, every new learning that only throws a smile on the face of the one who is worthy of that great love.
