Bunga Ageratum masih satu kerabat dengan tanaman bandotan. Bunganya tumbuh bergerombol dengan tekstur yang berbulu. Bunga yang dihasilkannya berwarna biru keunguan terlihat sangat lembut. Di luar negeri,
