Como ya mencioné en publicaciones anteriores, esta zona cuenta con una extensa costa que se extiende desde el sector San Luis hasta El Peñón y sus alrededores. Este proyecto incluye varias playas populares y el sector El Monumento, que a su vez se divide en secciones. En esta ocasión, me dirigí hacia el Malecón y la zona cercana a la clínica ambulatoria mencionada. Nunca antes había estado en esta parte de la ciudad, y debo decir que me encantó. Comencé mi caminata junto a una casa curiosa que, para mi sorpresa, tiene una excelente ubicación con la playa de fondo. Tras pedir permiso, pasé a la parte trasera, tomé varias fotos y pude observar la hermosa vista de la playa desde este punto. Hay un paseo marítimo que recorre toda la propiedad, ofreciendo hermosas vistas del mar y la Península de Araya. As I've mentioned in previous posts, this area boasts an extensive coastline stretching from the San Luis sector to El Peñón and surrounding areas. This project includes several popular beaches and the El Monumento sector, which is further divided into sections. On this occasion, I traveled towards the Malecón (coastal boardwalk) and the area near the aforementioned outpatient clinic. I had never been to this part of the city before, and I must say I really liked it. I started my walk next to a curious house which, to my surprise, has an excellent location with the beach in the background. After asking permission, I went to the back, took several photos, and was able to observe the beautiful view of the beach in this area. There is a clothing-lined walkway that extends the entire length of the property, offering beautiful views of the sea and the Araya Peninsula. According to the information provided by the owner of this house, it is one of the most popular beaches on weekends with locals and visitors looking for a quiet place to swim. Generally, on Saturdays and Sundays, you can see many people on this beach. In addition, the beach experience is enhanced by the sale of seafood soups and other delicious dishes made with seafood, which are a great attraction for visitors. Nothing beats a delicious seafood soup after a refreshing swim in the sea.

Lo que me llamó la atención fue el hermoso mural en la pared lateral de la casa, que representa diversas plantas, el mar y un pato blanco. Junto a él hay un pequeño terreno y, más allá, la playa rocosa. Un largo paseo marítimo recorre toda la playa. También hay un sendero que utilizan los pescadores locales para capturar cangrejos. Estas criaturas son bastante esquivas; vi varias durante mi paseo, pero fue imposible fotografiarlas. Luego se divisa el muelle trasero y el mar en perfecta calma al atardecer. Frente a la playa se encuentra el sector Caigüire y su imponente colina. Varias casas de esta zona también son visibles, así como la avenida que lleva al Monumento, el Bulevar Cumaná, y, a su vez, a los sectores Caigüire y El Peñón. A esta hora del día, el mar estaba completamente en calma y los cangrejos daban vueltas sobre las rocas, pero al mismo tiempo, estaban alerta ante la presencia humana y rápidamente regresaban a sus escondites. El paisaje marino al atardecer es uno de mis favoritos porque el cielo adquiere diversos matices, la brisa es más fresca y agradable, y además de los cangrejos, se pueden observar otros animales marinos igual de esquivos. Detrás de la casa mencionada hay un pequeño muelle que también se usa para la pesca. Al fondo, se divisa la península de Araya y los hermosos colores del atardecer.

These creatures are quite elusive; I saw several during my walk, but it was impossible to take a picture. Then there's a view of the back pier and the perfectly calm sea at sunset. In front of the beach lies the Caigüire sector and its imposing hill. Several houses in this area are also visible, as well as the avenue leading to the Monument, Cumaná Boulevard, and, in turn, to the Caigüire and El Peñón sectors. At this time of day the sea was completely calm and the crabs were making their rounds on the rocks, but at the same time, they were alert to the presence of humans and would quickly scurry back to their hiding places. The seascape at sunset is one of my favorites because the sky takes on various hues, the breeze is fresher and more pleasant, and in addition to the crabs, you can observe other marine animals that are just as elusive. Behind the aforementioned house is a small pier also used for boat fishing. In the background, you can see the Araya peninsula and the beautiful colors of the sunset in the sky.

Continuando mi paseo, hice breves pausas para admirar el paisaje, las olas y los hermosos colores del cielo al atardecer. Durante una de estas pausas, finalmente logré fotografiar dos cangrejos. Sus formas no se aprecian con claridad, pero estaban posados sobre las rocas en un pequeño canal de agua entre los senderos rocosos. Fue emocionante ver esta foto y saber que estos esquivos amigos marinos estaban allí. Más tarde, por la tarde, me senté a disfrutar de la brisa fresca, observar la inmensidad del mar y contemplar los barcos meciéndose suavemente sobre las olas. Luego me dirigí a otra parte de la playa para contemplar el hermoso paisaje y la llegada de la noche. Con ella, se encendieron las luces de la ciudad, creando un hermoso espectáculo. Continuing my walk, I made short breaks to admire the scenery, the waves, and the beautiful colors of the sky as the sun set. During one of these pauses, I finally managed to photograph two crabs. Their shapes aren't very clear, but they were perched on the rocks in a small channel of water between the flat rock walkways. It was exciting to see this photo and know that these elusive marine friends were there. Later in the afternoon, I sat down to enjoy the cool breeze, observe the vastness of the sea, and watch the boats bobbing gently on the waves. Then I headed to another part of the beach to contemplate the beautiful scenery and the arrival of night. With it, the city lights came on, creating a beautiful spectacle.
