Many of our clothes are made from cotton -or cotton mixed with man-made fibres. Cotton is a natural fibre that comes from the cotton flower a plant that grows in warm regions. It's seed pods or 'bolls' hold a dense mass of flutty fibres which can be separated into strands of cotton 'lint'. It is the lint from which cotton cloth is woven.
