The Crack History of the Universe Book 1 Ch.13 Cryogenian
Upon the Death of Chakravartin and Asura the Destructor countless amounts of mantra were released back into the universe and more importantly it was returned to the Earth; which granted the native sentients there such as the Lilin of the Black Moon and other tribes of sentients powers over magic as a shortcut and a revolution in the mystic arts began from this.
The first mages and mystics and other magical folk emerged and awakened to their awesome and exciting new powers over the years of 865’500’500 B.C.E. to 800’000’000 B.C.E. which was when the Tonian Period ended and the Cryogenian Period began formally [and officially by some historian’s accounts]. However, with these new powers at their disposal came new challenges as well…
Evolve or DIE!
In the year 800’000’000 B.C.E. the entire planet of Earth had frozen over in a great Ice Age causing the evolved lifeforms there to die off in droves. All was not lost however as some of the survivors had used their magic powers to fight the cold or to help their fellow sentients to help both of their species survive the cold.
At the same time, natural lifeforms develop multicellular functions and life begins to blossom naturally at the cellular level. These evolutionary developments go further still into 750’000’000 B.C.E. when proterozoas, parameciums, Amoebas, and melanocyrilliums all emerge from natural evolutionary processes.
It is also now that Animal cells begin to differentiate themselves from plant cells as the first natural herbivore organisms emerge followed shortly afterwards by the oceanic sea sponges. Ultimately at 700’000’000 B.C.E. the first worms evolved now as well.
The Great Invasive Species War
In the background of natural life’s continued evolutionary processes; there would come to the planet Earth another invasive species known as the Flying Polyps and they would attempt to colonize the planet Earth and ultimately expand their empire.
After a period of several years however, when they encroached on the territories of the Elder Things in the sea and some of their lands on the Earth, bitter and violent war between the two-species erupted and ultimately the Elder Things won against the Flying Polyps and they were repelled from the planet.
The End of the Cryogenian Period
At the time of 660’000’000 B.C.E. the Cadomian Orogeny occurred in which many of the Earth’s first mountains were made on the developing future prehistoric continental superpower Gondwana which was located to the South of its Northern continent and great rival future superpower continent Laurasia.
In the world of natural evolution; natural lifeforms had evolved to the point that they developed early skeletal structures and in addition the Demosponges had evolved as well! However, the true ending of the Cryogenian Period is marked by the event known as the Marinoan Glaciation of 650’000’000 B.C.E. in which glaciers had formed all over the planet Earth in another Great Ice Age until the year 635’000’000 B.C.E.; the start of the Ediacaran Period.
