Have you Heard of Seattle's Autonomous Zone? An Experiment in Anarchy.

Have you heard about the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ)?

This experiment in anarchy has been in the news, and has caused President Trump to take notice and exchange words and Tweets with the Governor of Washington State and the Mayor of Seattle.

CHAZ is the response to the angst people have felt during the riots. During this time, a number of blocks and a police station have been taken in the Capital Hill area. President Trump has seen it as an insurrection that needs to be put down, and the protestors are being supported by the city.

In the first two days, a rapper named Raz has assumed the voice of the community and its protector, and food has run out at least once.

I don't see this experiment ending well, and see it as a show of the angst and bad feelings in the country. Why have the Mayor, Governor and Police failed to address this? Simply put, bad blood is everywhere and these protestors will be coddled in the extremely liberal state.

According to sources, the borders are guarded by a gun club, and Raz rules the security division with armed guards as well. Hopefully a peaceful resolution can come about, but this is a symptom of disease and distrust within the system.

The media points to these protestors as curiosities, as no one knows what to think yet. The media is however beginning to focus on the criminality of the protestors and is pointing blame at the weakness of Seattle and the danger of the protestors. How could this kind of thing happen here? Goes to show we are living in strange times.
