Egypt has decided to give Egypt's citizenship in exchange for money. But citizenship will not be given their citizenship until their husband or wife and children live in Egypt permanently.
On Monday, a bill passed in the Egyptian parliament. One amended pass has said that if any foreigner wants to get the citizenship of Egypt, she will have to go to the country with at least 70 million Egyptian pounds (3, 92 thousand US dollars). According to the bill, foreign nationals have deposited equal foreign currency in any bank in Egypt and after five years the money will be given to the citizens of Egypt when the money is transferred to the Ministry of Finance. The person who owes the money to these five years must live in Egypt.
But there are still some restrictions on investing in foreign capital in Egypt. It is not yet clear what kind of economic activity the foreigners can operate in the country after getting Egypt's citizenship.
