The Real Danger of This "PANdemIC" : Isolation

It's been 17 days since the W.H.O. decided to call the novel coronavius #19 (nCoV19 or CoVid-19) a pandemic (a word which literally means "all people"), and in that time (even a bit before) we have seen draconian crackdowns all over the globe that would make Hitler & Goebbels proud.

If you know me, or have followed my blog for any time, you know that I'm an anarchist and a pacifist. I believe that force, coercion, theft, fraud, and violence are wrong. Full stop. It doesn't matter if someone has a title, a badge, or was "voted" for by other people. One person's rights end exactly where someone else's begin, and thus everything that "government" does, as it is all dependent on the barrel of a gun, is morally wrong.

Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based on five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, and county commissioners. ~ Edward Abbey

Since the majority of people have been thoroughly brainwashed (through 13+ years of mandatory government indoctrination camps, corporate media, and organized religion) to believe that any immoral thing can be made moral by the magic of voting, authority figures, baseless claims of human nature, or because "that's the way it's always been," I'm going to steer away from the statism vs anarchism argument for the moment.

Let's just focus on the specific, factual, physical-world repercussions of the panic being spread around nCoV19, and the "solutions" that are being offered. Instead of making one GIANT post, like I so often do, I'm going to split this one up into three articles:

  1. The physical & psychological effects of isolation/house arrest (euphemistically being called "social distancing.")
  2. The economic effects of medical martial law (which has now been enacted pretty much globally), and how those economic effects ripple out.
  3. The physical & psychological effects of fear, panic, and stress, the maximizing of which seem to be the goal of all corporate media at this point (and thus, unwittingly, of the masses.)

Before moving forward, I would also recommend reading my most recent post, which covers a handful of extremely important facts about this situation, which you likely haven't heard yet.

Humans Require Interaction & Connection - Isolation is Unhealthy & Dangerous

The WHO and agencies like the CDC have pushed this idea of "social distancing" as their main way of stopping the spread of nCoV19, going so far as to close schools, shut down millions of businesses, closing borders, and now house-by-house searches for people violating this "distancing." As the great George Carlin broke down so perfectly, adding syllables to make things sound more friendly is a long-running scam by those who want to control everyone else. "Social distancing" is just another way of saying isolation, or house arrest. That's right folks, the solution to the flu is to lock yourself in your house and not interact with other people, get sunlight & fresh air, or exercise... What could go wrong?

Well, the most simple & obvious way in which this doesn't work is that Vitamin D is vital to a functional immune system. As this study mentions, "Vitamin D has been used (unknowingly) to treat infections such as tuberculosis before the advent of effective antibiotics." Now, if our primary focus is people's physical health and ability to fight off a virus, it certainly follows that getting as much sunlight as possible is an important step.

Of course, we can supplement vitamin D, people can exercise in their homes, and most folks live in cities with horrific air quality anyway. So, let's assume that everyone takes the necessary actions to make up for their lack of time outdoors... that still leaves us with millions (billions?) of humans living in forced isolation.

Now, all that I can really offer you myself is my own reasoned-out understanding of the importance of human contact & interaction. So let's take a look at some experts...

Fittingly, this study on the effects of the SARS quarantines found:

Our results show that a substantial proportion of quarantined persons are distressed, as evidenced by the proportion that display symptoms of PTSD and depression as measured by validated scales.

and

This study also notes the trend toward increasing symptoms of both PTSD and depression as the combined annual income of the respondent household fell from CAD >$75,000 to CAD <$40,000. Quarantined persons with a lower combined annual household income may require additional levels of support.

This study in the American Journal of Epidemiology found that:

Social isolation was positively associated with all-cause and CVD mortality in the 4 race-sex subgroups examined and with cancer mortality in white men and women only.

As this NY Times article from 2016 points out:

A wave of new research suggests social separation is bad for us. Individuals with less social connection have disrupted sleep patterns, altered immune systems, more inflammation and higher levels of stress hormones. One recent study found that isolation increases the risk of heart disease by 29 percent and stroke by 32 percent.

According to Dr. Steve Cole

Loneliness acts as a fertilizer for other diseases,”... “The biology of loneliness can accelerate the buildup of plaque in arteries, help cancer cells grow and spread, and promote inflammation in the brain leading to Alzheimer’s disease. Loneliness promotes several different types of wear and tear on the body.

So, the evidence shows that isolation is harmful to us in just about every way. Also, as The Lancet says "Self-isolation will disproportionately affect elderly individuals whose only social contact is out of the home, such as at daycare venues, community centres, and places of worship." Wait, aren't the elderly the ones who are most at risk from nCoV19? So we're trading a (theoretically) lower infection rate for the elderly, for (known) negative effects on that same group of people. Negative health effects that have been well-documented and researched for decades...

Conclusion

Alright folks, that feels like at least a good starting point on this conversation. Have you seen any specific studies pointing to the dangers (or lack thereof) related to isolation? How about any studies or papers backing up the idea of "social distancing," because I haven't?

I want to make it clear that humans die from infectious diseases, every day, in the tens of thousands, when there isn't a pandemic under way. As I covered in my last article, respiratory infections alone make up more than 2.5 million deaths per year, in a year without a pandemic.

The question is clearly not about how to stop people from dying; we can't. The question clearly isn't about how to keep people healthy, or they'd be shutting down McDonalds, Monsanto, and the like permanently. The question is, how to control people most effectively while they pull off a controlled demolition of the economy, fast-track 5G adoption against the will of the people, and force injections on the masses.

Since their argument is that this is all being done to save lives, I think that this series will show that the response from government(s) is going to have the exact opposite effect. Be sure to follow my blog so you don't miss part 2, where we will discuss The economic effects of medical martial law (which has now been enacted pretty much globally), and how many people that will kill [directly].
