New Zealand and Tahiti are scheduled to play their OFC Under-19 Championship final on 2018-08-19 at 12:00am EST. Both teams have qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup and are playing for the title of OFC Champion. New Zealand finished 1st in group A by winning all 3 games over Tahiti, Tonga, and Papua New Guinea. Their opening match was a nailbiter against Tahiti but they managed to hold off the hosts for a single goal victory. Tahiti finished 2nd in group A and have won every match after their opening loss to defending champions New Zealand. Tahiti's last championship victory was in 2008.
