The Confidence Project Takeaway 2 Winners: 15 SBD Prize Pool!

Takeaway 2.png

A very good evening to the confident Cebuano Steemians hello to the confident people of the world! As promised, I will be announcing the winners of the challenge of The Confidence Project Takeaway 2! The second takeaway was written by @jsmalila but because he is preoccupied with his master's class requirements, I will be announcing the winners in his behalf.

This challenge's reward pool is a whooping 15 SBD, thanks to the supporters of the second takeaway. I decided to shoulder the 10 SBD from my own earnings because I wanted to entice all of the other Steemians to join the next takeaways. A special shoutout to an anonymous benefactor who showed his support by donating 5 SBD to the prize pool. Thank you!

Before I move on to announce the winners, I'd like to say a few things first. All of you may be wondering why this project is way off schedule already and for this, please accept my sincerest apologies. We mentioned in the manifesto that one of the project's objectives is for us to post the takeaways on time. I personally take this as a learning process on our part and therefore, delays were treated as inevitable in the first three takeaways. I promised myself to make it up to our readers come the second quarter of the year, but the supposed host of the third takeaway had some issues to take care of. Bottomline is, this project needed more work than we initially thought.

To make up for our own mishaps, we decided to rebrand the project and correct all the mistakes that we've made so far. You can expect these changes to take effect come the last week of April - the week after the Steem Summit.

With those out of the way, let's give it up for our Takeaway 2 winners!

Still with us after his Takeaway 1 entry, @brokemancode is determined to become more confident in his area of focus - public speaking. He determined that his intrinsic motivation was the sense of fulfillment he derives from doing his three action items. Leadership and sideline opportunities were among his extrinsic motivations with regards to actively working towards his area of focus. Just keep on, @brokemancode! The team is proud of your progress. You can read his full entry here.

Joining us with a fusion of her first and second challenges is @wandergirl. She noted that an area that she wishes to be more confident in the most is self-expression. She did a pretty good job in identifying her three action items. She added that her intrinsic motivation is to be relieved of her anxiety whenever the occasion presented itself. With her action items done, she expects to gain more friends in the process. Atta girl @wandergirl! The team wishes you well. You can read her full entry here.

@josejirafa

Returning after his Takeaway 1 entry, @josejirafa graced us with his brilliance once again. He made a recast of his first entry where he re-identified his area of focus as a full-pledged Steemit quality content creator and reputable user. He mentioned in his second entry that his intrinsic motivations are as follows: his personal growth, progress in the pursuit of his advocacies and being able to help others in their growth too. His extrinsic motivations are monetary rewards and his reputation. The team wishes nothing but success on your area of focus, @josejirafa! You can read his full entry here.

@reewritesthings

Just like @wandergirl, @reewritesthings sent in a fusion of her first and second challenge entries. She identified her area of focus to be writing, specifically, writing longer and more well thought-out posts. She wrote three doable action items which we believe will set her toward the right direction. In line with the second takeaway, she identified her intrinsic motivations as her passion for writing and interest in research while her extrinsic motivations were additional earnings on her post and constructive feedback from fellow creatives. Congratulations @reewritesthings! You won The Confidence Project Takeaway 2 challenge. All the best for you! You can read her full entry here.

In behalf of The Confidence Project's team, congratulations to you all!

We can tell that everyone poured themselves into their posts by admitting which motivated them intrinsically and extrinsically. The team couldn't thank you all enough. In the meantime, we hope you enjoyed your rewards. But we hope that you'll not lose sight of what is important - building your confidence in the area that matter to you the most.

Don't forget to visit my page within the week. I will be hosting the next takeaway.

Bizou bizou,
@thegaillery
