Someone may ask what's steemit? Steemit is a blogging platform where you blog to earn a token call Steem by creating and curating content. Basically people share their ideas, experience, news and so on. The goal of steemit is for people to basically earn rewards as they blog, make new friends and learn new things. Some people share their experiences, thoughts, people also write about stuffs they do and find so much interest in. Is Steemit really working? That's a big question to ask, some people may say it's working and others think otherwise. To me steemit is working but not the way it's suppose to. Minnows are not given the necessary attention they are suppose to be given. Is true that steemit is a not get rich quick scheme but I think only the whales and dolphins are the individuals enjoying the community. But I believe the community suppose to be fun for all.

Some minnows share laudable ideas but because they are not well known, the necessary attention is not given to them. Someone share his night club videos to get a lot of SBD while another write a good content just for peanuts. Just because one is a dolphin and the other is a minnow. Sometimes they get to discourage most of us to leave the platform. If whales and dolphins were in their shoes they would have done same. Steemit has become a political system in such a way that you need to be of their calibre for their support. Without that no one knows you. Cartels are formed without being part of them you don't get the necessary attention. Whales and dolphins upvote each other and minnows vote among themselves... But steemit wasn't meant for whales and dolphins is a community meant for everyone to gets rewards. But all this can be change the community supposed to be a family not cartels and political parties where if you are not part of them you don't get noticed. Steemit supposed to one big family under one umbrella. With this cohesion among minnows, dolphins and whales. This is how the community can grow and get more recognition than other social media platforms.

My experience on steemit wasn't something to write home about. I really struggled, which means we don't have the same goals on this platform. Sticking to the platform goals make us reach out to many people and bring them board. With this we can move forward. Without this I don't see how steemit can grow big for the benefits of all us. Rome wasn't build in a day. Steemit can go the extra mile if there is a cohesion between the members. But I use this opportunity to say hi to some Steemians who have made steemit a better place for the minnows. @dragonslayer109, @ackza, @beanz, @manishmike10, @pharesim, @mustard , @mughat, @thejohalfiles @tytran @ejamai and many more I want to say ayeekoo to all which means well done . Keep the good work. Kudos to the all people using discord and steemitchat to help minnows. Keep supporting us. #Teamghana is still advertising steemit to the whole Ghanaian community and beyond. Long live Steemit...
